In 1969 we wrote: “Future is fearsome for a lot of contemporaries. Saturated with horrible robots, mysterious rays and man made catastrophies. Future as we, Haus-Rucker-Co feel about, is light and yellow, like vanilla icecream. Refreshing, good tasting and soft….. Vanilla Future….. a label for Haus-Rucker-activities at the end of the sixties-decade, presenting new objects in succession of the Mindexpanding Program, like Battleship, Roomscraper, Electric Skins and Giant Billard. This period of optimism ended with the exhibition „Haus-Rucker-Co LIVE“ at Museum des 20. Jahrhunderts, Wien and Museum of Contemporary Crafts, New York at the beginning of 1970.
